Welcome! I am Kylie, the owner and operator of Happy Living Farms. With my husband, Andrew, we run a small homestead outside of State Center, Iowa. On our farm, we strive to be as self sustaining and clean as possible. We grow and raise about 60% of our food, with the goal of continuing to increase our independence while reducing our impact on the environment. It is important to us that the foods we eat are clean, healthy, and chemical free. We also strive to minimize any negative impact on nature, and try to give back whenever possible. Like all things in life, there is always room to grow and improve.
As part of our adventures, we have been able to expand various areas of the farm, and share the bounty with the community, which is where Happy Living Farms comes into the picture. Through this side business, we will sell any surplus produce and products that our little homestead creates. For now, that means selling honey. But in the future, we hope to add farm fresh eggs, organic garden produce, homemade/canned goods, and possibly even goat milk products! If I can convince Andrew to let me get a few dairy goats that is ;)
So welcome to our small but happy farm! We hope you find something you like! If you'd like to reach out to us for questions, ideas, or just want to chat, you can find us on both Instagram and Facebook by searching Happy Living Farms.
